New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in its guidelines issued for Lockdown 2.0, has allowed e-commerce companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Paytm Mall to resume full operations from April 20.

In what will come as a big relief to millions across the country, the e-commerce companies will be allowed to deliver non-essential goods as well.

The companies, however, are seeking some clarifications from the government before fully resuming their services, the Economic Times reported.

Their level of operation depends on the availability of labour, an Amazon employee said.

Also, as per the guidelines, the e-commerce companies will have to take permission from the government regarding the vehicles to be used to deliver the goods.

Courier services will also be resumed. While railways, airports, seaports, and land ports will be allowed to function to ease cargo movement, trucks and other good carriers are being allowed with two drivers and one helper in a vehicle with a valid license.
