Prakruti Mishra isn’t staying with her parents during the coronavirus outbreak-induced lockdown. But she isn’t complaining.
“I’ve been living in another house of mine with three friends for a month now… And since I’m not able to move out, I decided to quarantine myself and get locked down here only,” informs the Mumbai-based Odia actress who is known for her work in Odia films and Hindi television.
Her day starts quite – at 11 am.
“I definitely make sure I have my turmeric tea and vitamin C capsule during breakfast,” says the winner of National Film Award for Special Mention Jury for ‘Hello Arsi’.
The lunch menu is then decided and the three friends take turns to cook. “I try out different dishes,” Prakruti quips.
Post lunch, it’s movie time. They again reach a consensus and watch a film together.
She makes a lot of awareness videos for the Odisha government and other associations, so part of her day is spent shooting.
“Every day or the other, I try to make some funny videos for fans and post them on my social media accounts,” reveals Prakruti.
She is also into music. Not only do the four friends listen to good music, Prakruti also plays the ukulele, an instrument resembling a small guitar.
Another “time pass” she indulges in, is sketching and colouring.
She rues that she can’t do ‘hard workouts’ inside the house. “But since I do a lot of videos on dancing, some physical activity is there,” she says.
It’s we-time again in the evenings and nights as Prakruti and her friends play Life, ludo or sequence. “We rustle up a light dinner and then watch some web series episodes… that goes on till 1 or 2 am,” she smiles, adding that she also takes time out to interact with people through internet and social media.
