Long-Distance Train Services Resume From Puri

Bhubaneswar: In a huge relief to stranded passengers, three long-distance Express trains will commence their journeys from Puri on Wednesday, five days after cyclone Fani ripped the holy town apart.

The trains are the Puri-New Delhi Purushottam express, Puri-Durg express and Puri-Hatia Tapaswini express, ECoRly said in a statement.

The decision was taken after railways successfully ran a special train between Khurda road station and Puri on Tuesday.
