Maharashtra Opposition’s Lok Sabha Deal: 21 Seats For Uddhav’s Sena, 10 for Sharad Pawar’s Party & Congress 17
New Delhi: Sanjay Raut of Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena faction will contest in 21 Lok Sabha seats, Congress on 17 and Sharad Pawar’s party will fight in 10 Maharashtra constituencies.
Giving details on Tuesday, Raut said that they contest in Jalgaon, Parbhani, Nashik, Palghar, Kalyan, Thane, Raigad, Maval, Dharashiv, Ratnagiri, Buldhana, Hatkanangle, Shirdi, Sambhajinagar, Sangli, Hingoli, Yavatmal, Mumbai South-Central, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai South and Mumbai North-East seats.
The 10 constituencies where Sharad Pawar will field his candidates are Baramati, Shirur, Satara, Bhiwandi, Dindori, Madha, Raver, Wardha, Ahmednagar South and Beed.
Chandrahar Patil, a wrestler who belongs to Shiv Sena (UBT), will be contesting the Sangli Lok Sabha seat as a Maha Vikas Aghadi candidate. He will take on sitting MP Sanjaykaka Patil of the BJP who has been renominated by the party. Leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi gave Patil’s name at a joint press conference in Mumbai.
