Cuttack: Hindi movie ‘Namard’ with Ollywood connection is set to go on floors this month. Besides being directed by Ollywood director N Padhy, it will have Odia actress Sandhyarani Sahoo in the second lead.
Speaking on the sideline of the mahurat of the movie at Choudhury Bazar in the city on Friday, Padhy said its story is based on the pshychological disturbances a young man goes through after failing in a relationship with a girl.
“With Mumbai-based actors, we have also roped in some Odia actors in this movie. It will be released in Joker Plus channel,” said Padhy.
Bollywood actor Aryan Abbas, who will be seen in lead male role, said, “The movie is based on the thought process of a man. It will analyse the mental trauma of a youth after failure in love. The youths will enjoy the movie.” Ananya Kashyap plays the female lead in the film.
Other star casts of the movie are Adi Irani, Subhra Majumdar, T Apparao, Sonali Mallick and some Bengal actors.
Produced under the banner Bishnupriya Productions, the shooting of the fgilm will be started this month. Dillip Kumar Pushpalak is its producer.
Ramesh Singh Goutam has written the story and Bibhuti Gadnayak is the music composer.
