Maintain Your Vehicle Or Pay This Fine Under Amended MVA

Bhubaneswar: Not maintaining your vehicle regularly, getting it repaired or serviced on time could cost you heavy. According to the amended Motor Vehicles (MV) Act, this is one of the essential requirements.

As per the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, timely maintenance of a vehicle is a must. Using a defective vehicle can attract a fine of Rs 1,500 as it can be hazardous to road safety.

A person using a defective vehicle can be fined under Section 190 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
