Kendrapara: Police on Saturday arrested a man on charges of blackmailing his sister-in-law by threatening to upload her nude pictures on social media.
He has been identified as Litu Mallick (29) of Raghudeipur village.
“The accused sought sexual favour from his wife’s younger sister and threatened to make her nude photographs public if she spurned his advances following which she lodged a complaint on March 7,” said Inspector of Derabish Police Station, Umakant Nayak.
During interrogation, Mallick has confessed to the crime, he added.
