Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has made it mandatory for the fully vaccinated employees to attend office after partial relaxation of lockdown in the state from today.
The General Administration (GA) and Public grievances department on Thursday issued the guidelines However, the departments/heads of offices in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack have been given the power to decide the manner of selection of employees, not fully vaccinated, who will attend office on roster basis, stated an order by .
A special camp was organised to vaccinate employees of the state secretariat and heads of department employees.
This apart, all departments of the government and sub-ordinate offices in the state shall function with 50 per cent strength of employees.
However, officers of the rank of Deputy Secretary and above shall attend Office daily, stated the order and added that this would be effective till June 30.
Essential offices or services such as SRC and OSDMA offices, police, fire services, health services, municipal services, etc shall function in full strength.
It may be ensured that the officers/staff who are not assigned duty on roster, should work from home and they should be provided with VPN for attending regular and pending works. They must also be available on telephone at all times to attend any office work of urgent nature, at short notice.
Employees with disability and pregnant women employees may be exempted from attending office and work from home.
Administrative Departments will decide about the male of operations in Sub-ordinate and field offices.
