Kalahandi: Six Maoist posters were found in four villages in Kalahandi district on Monday.
Through the hand-written posters in Odia put up on trees at Sindgilipadar, Belagaon, Barabandha and Bimalapadar villages, the ultras belonging to Kalahandi-Kandhaal-Boudh-Nayagarh division of CPI (Maoist) urged the villagers to work with them to protest against the alleged police atrocities on tribals.
The Maoists condemned the police encounter at Bilabaru and Gumudumaha and threatened police personnel of dire consequences if a CRPF camp set up in a tribal land at Uraladhani in the district was not withdrawn.
