Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a marginal fall in daily COVID caseload as 510 people tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hours against 623 on Saturday.
The daily infection count was 695 on Saturday, 628 on Friday, 580 on Thursday and 457 on Wednesday.
Of new cases, 79 children (below 18 years) have been infected with the virus, which is 15.49 per cent.
According to the I & PR Department, 297 of the new infections are from quarantine and 213 local contacts. Khurda (197) and Cuttack (78) accounted for 53.92 per cent of the total cases in the state.

With these cases being detected from 62509 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.81 per cent.
Odisha now has 5,494 active cases.
