New Delhi: US President Donald Trump, in one of his campaign rallies in Georgia, said that he may have to flee the country if he loses next month’s Presidential election to Democrat candidate Joe Biden.
Calling Biden the ‘worst candidate’ in history, Trump said: “Running against the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics puts pressure on me. Could you imagine if I lose?”
“What am I gonna do… I’m not gonna feel so good. Maybe I’ll have to leave the country. I don’t know,” said the man who is seeking a second term.
This is the first time that Trump has acknowledged the possibility of losing the election on November 3. He is banking on his core Republican base, hoping that they will turn up in huge numbers at his rally, reported AFP.
Trump and Biden are scheduled to face each in the final Presidential debate on Thursday.
