Bhubaneswar: Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, media has faced public ridicule with journalists reading private WhatsApp conversations in the name of news being called out.

In the recent media trial, a news anchor from a prominent broadcasting channel displayed the WhatsApp conversation of bigwigs of the Bollywood in connection to the alleged drug nexus.

Following this, Twitter obviously couldn’t help but ironically marvel at anchor’s ability to dig up private WhatsApp chats and soon a lot of Twitteratis brought out hilarious memes trolling the journalistic ethics of the news anchor.

From comparing the innovative trend of journalism with snooping to revised policies of WhatsApp, users started trolling and questioning the end-to-end encrypted security feature of the application.

Here are some of these hilarious tweets:

Snooping is old business of media.

Good morning @navikakumar ji, the film industry has been talking about & promoting 'MAAL' since a long time now. You must expose them all. See how subtly they do it.
