Bhubaneswar: The result of ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) Semester 1 has been declared. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will not issue any hard copies of the result. The same will be made available to the respective schools in the form of online transcripts and result tabulation.
Students will be issued computer-generated marksheets, which only indicate the marks obtained by the candidates in each subject or paper for the Semester 1 examination.
The results are available on the CAREERS portal of the Council, hosted on its official website. The results can also be accessed through SMS. Schools can view the results on the CAREERS portal using the login ID of the respective principals.
The user will have to visit the portal and click on the title ‘Semester 1 Examination System.’ In case of any doubts, schools can contact the CISCE helpdesk at ciscehelpdesk@orioninc.com or dial 1800-267-1760. Individual candidates can check the Council’s website and click on the link ‘Results 2021-22 Semester 1’ for viewing the results. The candidate will need to enter his or her Unique ID, Index number and captcha.
Candidates can also get the results on their mobile phones via SMS by sending their Unique ID to 09248082883. Meanwhile, soon after the result was declared, social media platforms like Twitter were flooded with memes by students waiting for the results of the CBSE Board exams. Here are some of these memes:

“I understand CBSE can’t compete ICSE in it’s curriculum, and I guess we all have accepted it. But, can’t you compete with them on result deceleration?!! We want T1 results. #CBSEResult #cbse #term1result #ICSE,” tweeted Amisha Dewangan.
Upset with the process of evaluation, a Twitter user alleged that students who had tallied their options with the official answer scripts found no correlation with their results.
