MEMU Train Service Between Puri And Angul Soon

Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to introduce MEMU train service between Puri and Angul, Sambalpur and Rourkela.

The MEMU train between Puri and Angul will replace 58421/58422 Angul-Puri-Angul passenger and will be changed to 68421/68422 Angul-Puri-Angul MEMU.

The coach has been completely built at Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala.

68421/68422 Angul-Puri-Angul MEMU will run daily except on Monday from Puri and on Tuesday from Angul. 58422 Puri-Angul passenger will leave Puri on Monday and 58421 Angul-Puri Passenger will leave on Tuesday only.

The timings of 68421/68422 Angul-Puri-Angul MEMU will be the same as that of 58421/58422 Angul-Puri-Angul passenger.

Apart from this, 78103/78104 Rourkela-Sambalpur-Rourkela DEMU passenger will be replaced with MEMU train from 9 July. The train numbers will remain the same.

58135/58136 & 58137/58138 Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda passenger trains will be replaced with MEMU train and will bear new numbers, 68033/68034 & 68031/68032 Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda MEMU.

58133/58134 Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Rourkela passenger will be replaced by 68029/68030 Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Rourkela MEMU.

68027 Rourkela-Sambalpur MEMU will leave Rourkela at 0720hrs and will arrive at Sambalpur at 1045hrs. In the return direction, 68028 Sambalpur-Rourkela MEMU will leave Sambalpur at 1110hrs and will arrive at Rourkela at 1445hrs.
