Met Dept Issues Yellow Warning Of Light Right & Thunderstorm For These Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department has issued yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj till 8.30 am of Tuesday (April 19).

As per the midday bulletin of IMD, the next two are likely to remain mostly dry across the state. It has forecast light rain or thunderstorm at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur,
Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and Gajapati till 8.30 am of April 20 (Wednesday).

Similarly, one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Koraput Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and Kandhamal too are likely to experience light rain or thunderstorm from 8.30 am of April 20 to 8.30 am of April 21.

However, yellow warning has been issued from 8.30 am of April 21 to 8.30 am of April 22.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Balasore, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada and Koraput from 8.30 am of April 21 to 22.

Similarly, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore,
Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Cuttack, Kendrapada and Nayagarh till 8.30 am of April 22 to 8.30 am of April 23.
