Thinking Of Buying A Hector MG? Wait For Seven Months

Unfazed by the slow-down in the automotive industry, Morris Garages’ first product in India has seen a quick 13,000 bookings till date. This has translated to a seven-month long waiting period for the top end petrol automatic. Hector’s competitive pricing and the wow-factor of the SUV have led to this impressive response.

Also, the production currently is just 2000 units per month.

The company confirmed that the petrol DCT in Sharp trim and Glaze Red paint is the most sought-after. The petrol-hybrid and diesel manual have a waiting period of three-four months. The diesel Super variant has the lowest demand and can be delivered within three months. It, however, misses out on electronic goodies such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 10.4-inch touchscreen, alloy wheels, etc.

The Hector has the highest demand in Kochi, followed by Gurgaon.

The Rs 12.18- 16.88 lakh price of the Hector is quite competitive compared to Tata Harrier and Jeep Compass, its main rivals.
