Mild Quake Hits Delhi For Second Day
New Delhi: A mild tremor was felt in Delhi and adjoining areas on Monday afternoon. The tremor measured 2.7 on the Richter scale.
This was the second consecutive day that a low-intensity earthquake hit the national capital region (NCR), triggering panic with people rushing out of their homes.
A 3.5 magnitude earthquake with the epicentre at Sonia Vihar in northeast Delhi had struck NCR on Sunday evening. No injuries or damage to property were reported.
