Minor Girl’s Mobile Phone Explodes During Online Class In Odisha’s Puri

 

Puri: A school student escaped with minor injuries when her mobile phone used by her for online studies exploded here on Tuesday.

According to sources, the standard VII student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rupsa Palai of Adarshnagar in the district, was listening to an online class on her mobile phone when the instrument exploded. She sustained minor burn injuries.

Besides government, private schools and educational portals have been offering online classes due to the lockdown imposed in the wake of COVID-19.

According to a mobile phone technician, it happens in case of some defective part of the phone. Besides, it is advisable not to use the phones for long time continuously or while it is charging and switch off when it gets heated.
