Pipili: The body of a missing elderly man was found from Daya river near Kurakhi Natasahi under Pipili police station area on Monday.
Sources said that Raghunath Behera, 65, of Barakuda village under Jamukoli panchayat of Airfield police area, went missing while crossing the Gangua canal with a herd of cattle on Saturday. He had taken out the cattle herd for gazing. On being informed, the police and fire department personnel reached the spot but could not trace him.

On Monday morning, residents found his body floating in the Daya river and informed his family members. The police then arrived and sent his body for post-mortem.
