MNS Leader Threatens To Stop Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 14’ Shoot; Know Why

New Delhi: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Amey Khopkar has threatened to stop the shooting of Salman Khan-hosted ‘Bigg Boss 14’ over disrespect shown towards Marathi language in the show.

According to a report in Zee News, in a recent episode of ‘Bigg Boss 14’, one of the contestants Jaan Kumar Sanu — son of Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu — told other inmates of the house they should not speak to him in Marathi.

This has reportedly irked the MNS leader and he alleged that Jaan insulted Marathi language by making such a statement on the reality show.

Khopkar has demanded an apology from Jaan within 24 hours, failing which the party will stop the shooting of the show in Goregaon, Maharashtra.

“Within 24 hours if Jaan Kumar Sanu doesn’t apologize, then Bigg Boss 14 shooting will be stopped,” the MNS leader was quoted as saying.

“If one has to stay in Maharashtra then you have to respect the Marathi language,” he added.

Jaan was earlier in the news after fellow-contestant Rahul Vaidya called him a product of nepotism.
