Bhubaneswar: The 10-day monsoon session of Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence on September 7.
According to sources, important ordinances regarding setting up of a higher education development council and land and property rights to slum dwellers will be introduced in the upcoming session.
There will be a total of eight working days in the session, which will conclude on September 16.
The Opposition Congress and BJP are planning to corner Odisha government on several issues, including swine flu, dengue and deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
