Bhubaneswar: New Motor Accident Mediation Cell was opened on the district court premises here on Friday.
District and Sessions Judge Satyanarayan Mishra inaugurated the cell in the presence of judicial officers, legal aid secretary Manas Ray and trained mediators of Bhubaneswar.
This centre will help in quick settlement of motor accident-related claims.
This is the first centre in the Odisha capital. Once a case is settled here, there will be no further litigation, sources said.
