Motorola One Power Launched For Rs 15999

New Delhi: Lenovo-owned Moto has launched the new Motorola One Power at an event here for Rs 15999.

The India-exclusive phone’s main distinct feature is a massive 5000 mAh battery that promises a two-day battery life. It is also part of the Android One initiative like the Mi A2.

This would mean the smartphone competes with such offerings as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and the Nokia 6.1 Plus.

The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of box and will upgraded to Android Pie soon. The screen is a 6.2-inch full-HD+ having 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch. It is powered by the Snapdragon 636 SoC like Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The processor is coupled with an Adreno 509 GPU and it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The rear camera unit is a dual camera setup that supports 4K video recording. The primary sensor is 16MP (f/1.8) and the secondary is a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. The front camera is 12MP sensor and is AI-enabled for smarter selfies.

The phone is spill resistant and comes with a protective cover in the package. The fingerprint sensor is situated at the rear. The 5000 mAh battery can deliver 6 hours of usage in a 15-minute charge using the 15W TurboPower charger. The bottom-firing Dolby speakers are rated at 84 dbs.

Like older Motos, it has Moto Actions gesture control that lets you turn on the light or the camera with a shake or twist.

The Motorola One Power will be exclusively available on Flipkart. The sale starts on October 5, and the registration for the same will begin on Monday.
