Bhubaneswar: The father of a youth from Rourkela, who was arrested by the NCB in connection with the drug party on a luxury cruise off Mumbai coast, has claimed that his son was innocent and has no connection with the party that was raided.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested four persons including two Odia youths, Manish Rajgharia and Abhin Sahoo from Rourkela, in connection with the case on Tuesday. Manish was found in possession of 2.4 gram of ganja while Abhin confessed to the NCB to have smoked the narcotic laced cigarette in the party.
The father of Abhin said his son had gone to attend his friend’s bachelor party on the cruise ship. Abhin has no links with Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, he added.
He alleged that Abhin was being dragged into the incident as it is a high-profile case.
