Nagarjuna Played Cupid In Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala’s Love Story; Know How

Mumbai: Celebrity couple Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to walk down the aisle on December 4.

Days ahead of their wedding, Naga’s father, actor Nagarjuna shared with TOI how he played a pivotal role in bringing the duo together.

Sharing how he played cupid for the couple, Nagarjuna said he had invited Sobhita home to congratulate her for her impressive performance in the 2018 film ‘Goodachari’ and that’s when Naga met her and cupid struck them.

“I invited her to meet me the next time she was in Hyderabad. She later came home to meet me, and we had some wonderful conversations — not just about films but life in general. Chaitanya happened to walk in during one of her visits, and that’s when they met for the first time if I remember correctly,” said the would-be father-in-law.

Expressing his admiration for Sobhita, Nagarjuna said, “She’s worked incredibly hard to achieve her dreams, starting from Vizag and carving out a niche for herself in the industry. She’s a brilliant actress who has stayed true to her values and craft. More than that, she’s very warm and grounded.”

Naga and Sobhita will exchange wedding vows at family-owned Annapurna Studios on December 4.

The wedding will be a private affair with only close friends and family members on the guest list.

Chaitanya was married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu for four years before they parted ways in 2021. Chaitanya and Sobhita dated for two years before deciding to take their relationship to the next level.
