Bhubaneswar: Exploring life on Mars has always been an intriguing mission for scientists across the globe.
Now, NASA is determined to send humans to Mars possibly by 2035 on a scientific mission. Humans can potentially stay there for nearly 500 days to gather valuable scientific data before returning to Earth.
Covering about 402 million kilometres, the mission will involve a round trip of around six to seven months each way.
The mission, which is a part of NASA’s broader Artemis program, aims to send humans to the Moon within 10 years, to prepare for future Mars expedition.
Mars, which was formed around 4.6 billion years ago, once had a denser atmosphere and abundant liquid water, just like Earth. However, today, there is no liquid water on Mars.
