Naveen Issues Order To Fill Up 4,790 Police Constable Posts
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday issued order to start the process for filling up 4,790 constable posts in Odisha Police.
According to a release from Chief Minister’s Office, Naveen has extended his approval to fill up these posts in 4 stages this year. He directed to begin the official process soon.
The selected constables will be appointed in 34 police districts and Commissionerate Police during the process. It will offer an opportunity for the youths to get employment in government jobs, he said.
With this, not only the constable posts lying vacant in different districts and police stations will be filled up but also the police department will be further strengthened to maintain law and order, the release stated.
