Mumbai: The drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is getting bigger and considering the magnitude of the case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has reportedly approached top officers in different parts of the country, including Bhubaneswar, Ahmedabad and Guwahati, to be part of the investigation, reported Zoom.
The Odisha capital grabbed headlines in August after a Whatsapp chat of Rhea Chakraborty with a friend in which she mentions that ‘Bhubaneswar is the scene’ and ‘best weed ever’ is found there went viral.
On August 28, Odisha DGP Abhay had said it would extend all support if the agency approached it.

Deepika is also likely to release a statement on it.
The report added that Sushant’s talent manager Jaya Saha had named filmmaker Madhu Mantena during the questioning by the agency and he may be summoned as well.
Meanwhile, the NCB has also approached sessions court and sought the custody of Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant’s personal assistant Dipesh Sawant.
