Bhubaneswar: Results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was declared on Monday.
The results were announced at 12.30 pm.
Kalpana Kumari has emerged all India topper with 99.99 percent. She has obtained 171 out of 180 marks in Physics, 160 out of 180 marks in Chemistry and 360 out of 360 marks in Biology (Biology and Zoology). Her overall score is 691 out of 720.

Out of nearly 13.36 lakh students across the country, about 40,000 students from Odisha had appeared for the test at 40 centres on May 6.
Of the total students appeared for the examination, as many as 6,34,897 students have qualified.
The NEET was held for admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery).
The test consisted of one paper in all languages, containing 180 objective type questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
CBSE would release the NEET Results 2018 and the All India Rank List for NEET 2018. The counselling for NEET under-graduate admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in government medical colleges would be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The schedule for UG Counselling would be released by MCC on the official website www.mcc.nic.in
After the results are declared, the counselling schedule would be released by the MCC. Students are then required to apply for online counselling.
The eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified by the respective authorities. Students would then have an option to exercise their choices.
