NEET-PG Results Declared In 10 Days; Know How To Check If You Have Qualified
New Delhi: The National Board of Examination in Medical Science (NBEMS) on Wednesday declared the NEET PG results within a record 10 days of conducting the postgraduate medical entrance exam.
After month-long protests demanding postponement, the entrance exam was held on May 21 at 849 centres across the country. Even the Supreme Court rejected a petition asking for deferment.
As many as 1,82,318 candidates had taken the exam.
Candidates can check their results at official websites — nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in.
Candidates need at least 50 percentile score to clear the exam, while for SC, ST and OBC category students, minimum marks required to pass is 40 percentile.
There is a cut-off which has been released. Candidates who have scored above the cut-off have been selected and will be called for counselling.
The result is provisional, subject to document verification. The scorecard will be released on June 8.
“I congratulate all the students who have qualified for NEET-PG with flying colours. I appreciate NBEMS for their commendable job of declaring the results in record 10 days, much ahead of the schedule,” Union Health minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted.
