On July 18, the SC ordered the NTA to upload city-wise and centre-wise marks obtained by students in the UG-2024 NEET examination without disclosing their identities on its website by noon on July 20. The order came from a bench led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud alongside Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra after the petitioner urged it to direct the testing agency to publish the result of all students to bring in some transparency.
Aspirants had approached the top court and raised the issue of leakage of question paper, awarding compensatory marks and anomaly in question of NEET-UG. The bench will resume hearing of the pleas on July 22.
