NEET-UG 2024 City, Centre-Wise Results Out; Know How To Check The Score

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) results in city and centre specific manner in accordance with a directive issued by the Supreme Court.

All the candidates, who have appeared for the examination, can check the results on the official website of NTA NEET- exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The results can also be checked on neet.ntaonline.in.

HOW TO CHECK THE SCORE

  • Visit the official website of NTA NEET.
  • Click on NEET UG Result 2024 link available on the home page.
  • A new page will open; select your state and centre.
  • The result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates are advised to review their results closely.

On July 18, the SC ordered the NTA to upload city-wise and centre-wise marks obtained by students in the UG-2024 NEET examination without disclosing their identities on its website by noon on July 20. The order came from a bench led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud alongside Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra after the petitioner urged it to direct the testing agency to publish the result of all students to bring in some transparency.

Aspirants had approached the top court and raised the issue of leakage of question paper, awarding compensatory marks and anomaly in question of NEET-UG. The bench will resume hearing of the pleas on July 22.

This year, the NTA conducted the NEET UG examination on May 5 across 4,750 centres and the results were announced on June 4. A re-examination for affected candidates was held on June 23, and results revealed on June 30. Approximately 24 lakh candidates participated in the main examination. The re-exam was held for 1,563 candidates who were awarded grace marks and only 813 among them took the test.

The NEET UG exam is conducted for admissions into MBBS, BDS and AYUSH and other related courses in government and private institutions across the country.
