Mumbai: Actor Ahaan Panday, who is currently basking in the success of his debut film ‘Saiyaara’, has become an internet sensation after his old mimicry videos resurfaced on social media platforms.
Before his Bollywood debut, Ahaan used to recreate iconic Bollywood dialogues and scenes on social media platforms, such as Dubsmash.
In these throwback videos, Ahaan’s admiration for Ranbir is quite evident as his recreations included songs such as ‘Channa Mereya’ from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ title track, a dialogue from ‘Rockstar’, and dancing on ‘Dilliwaali Girlfriend’ from ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.’
The video montage was shared on X handle and captioned as: “Knew #AhaanPanday was destined for greatness when I found out he was a fan of #RanbirKapoor.”
As the post went viral on social media, netizens hailed Ahaan as the next Ranbir Kapoor of B-town.
One wrote, “He’s got the Ranbir vibe. Raw, emotional, effortless.”

In Mohit Suri’s romantic film ‘Saiyaara’, Ahaan played Krish Kapur, a short-tempered musician who falls in love with Vaani (Aneet Padda), a shy aspiring journalist.
Produced by the CEO of YRF, Akshaye Widhani, the film released in theatres on July 18 and collected ₹21 crore on its first day of release.
Till date, the film has collected ₹132 crore in domestic market.
