Keonjhar: In a shocking incident, a newborn was found abandoned on the premises of Banspal hospital in Keonjhar district on Wednesday.
According to sources, the boy, who was wrapped in a cloth and kept near a tree inside the hospital premises, was rescued by an ASHA.
The child was later admitted to the district headquarters hospital for treatment. His condition is stated to be stable.
The matter is under investigation by police.
