Dhenkanal: A newly-married woman reportedly committed suicide in Dhenkanal district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Jharana Nayak, a native of Kalanda village in Hindol block.
According to reports, Jharana had got married to one Madanmohan Nayak of Bidyabandh village on February 17.
On Saturday morning, family members of Jharna’s husband found her hanging in her bedroom and informed the police.
Police have sent the body for postmortem.
The reason of her death is yet to be ascertained.
