New Delhi: Maruti’s Nexa on Friday posted a teaser on an off-road sand path with a message to guess which SUV is launching.
It is believed that this could be the Suzuki Jimny which has been anticipated for a long time. Like the Mahindra Thar, the Suzuki Jimny will be positioned as a lifestyle off-roader vehicle.

The Jimny is expected to come first as a 3-door version and later with the 5-door one in 2022.
It is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 101 BHP power. An optional automatic transmission can be expected.
Maruti is also expected to launch another SUV – Vitara.
