Bhubaneswar: Most parts of Odisha witnessed a sharp fall in the night temperature by about 2 degree Celsius on Thursday.
According to a release issued by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar this evening, Daringbadi in Kandhamal district was the coldest place in the state with 10 degree Celsius followed by Sundargarh (11.5), Angul (12), Phulbani (12.5), Titlagarh (12.6), Koraput (13.6), Bhawanipatna (15), Keonjhar (15.1), Jharsuguda (16.1), Sambalpur (16.1), Balangir (16.5), Sonepur (16.6), Baripada (17.4), Balasore (17.2), Hirakud (17.7), Cuttack (17.7) and Talcher (18.4).
The night temperature in the capital city of Bhubaneswar, which was 19.6 degree Celsius on Tuesday, fell by almost one degree (18.8) this evening.
As per the forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum night temperature will fall by 2-3 degree Celsius over the interior Odisha during the next five days till November 18.
