Mumbai: Amidst speculation about dating a married man, Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Dasvi’ co-star Nimrat Kaur has finally opened up about her relationship status.
After a post on Reddit alleged that Abhishek cheated on wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan because of Nimrat, the actress firmly stated that she cannot stop people from gossiping.
“I could have done anything, and people would still say what they want. It is not possible to stop such gossip, and I prefer to focus on my work,” The Times of India quoted Nimrat as saying.
Abhishek and Aishwarya have been married for over 17 years, and have a 13-year-old daughter named Aaradhya.
Of late, Abhishek and Aishwarya have been attending various events and functions separately, sparking rumours about their separation and divorce.
