Cuttack: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) clarified that the previous order of lockdown at 7 pm in the city will remain valid for Friday (July 17).
Shops and other establishments will down shutters by 6 pm, the CMC tweeted.
The confusion was created after the state government declared a two-week complete lockdown starting from 9 pm on Friday. However, the CMC was already enforcing lockdown at 7 pm on weekdays instead of 9 pm, as was the case with other places in the state.
Please note as per CMC’s order no 5783, all the shops barring the medicine stores in Cuttack city (CMC Area) should stop its operations at 6 pm today. Similarly, restrictions on the movement of people are applicable from 7 pm. No change in that.https://t.co/eZLGncZMYe
