Noose Tightens Around Rhea Chakraborty Over Drug Use In Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Case

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (MCB) has filed a criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty in connection with the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

According to an India Today report, the NCB has also identified two men, Farookh Sheikh alias Farookh Batata and Bakul Chandalia, who allegedly supplied drugs in the Bollywood circle. They are most likely to be questioned.

On August 25, Enforcement Directorate released Rhea Chakraborty’s WhatsApp chats with Samuel Miranda, Jaya Saha and Gaurav Arya on drug use and asked the NCB take probe this angle.

On August 26, the NCB booked Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty and others under Sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.

Rhea’s lawyer, in a statement, had earlier stated that she had never consumed drugs and was ready for a blood test any time to prove the same.
