Mumbai: Nora Fatehi has added another global milestone to her career, becoming the only Bollywood artiste to have performed at both a FIFA World Cup event and a Cricket World Cup ceremony.
The actress-singer took the international stage at the FIFA World Cup 2022 closing ceremony, where she performed as part of the official anthem ‘Light The Sky’.
Nora not only danced and sang before a massive global audience but also represented India by performing portions of the anthem in Hindi, bringing Indian culture to one of the world’s biggest sporting platforms.
She later delivered a power-packed performance at the opening ceremony of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Mumbai. Performing before a packed stadium, Nora once again proved her ability to command large live audiences with ease.
Sharing moments from the event on social media, she wrote, “T20 World Cup opening ceremony and my birthday celebration… I’m feeling lucky! Jai Hind!”
