Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 11 districts of Odisha, including Cuttack city, till 5.30 pm on Sunday.
Light to moderate thunderstorm/rain accompanied by lighting may affect some parts of Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Angul, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), and Kendrapada during this period.

People have been advised to keep a watch on weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
