Bhubaneswar: The Nothing Phone 3a series is all set to be launched in India on March 4. This time, the London-based company is launching two models – Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a Pro – while skipping the “Plus” variant.
The 3a Pro will feature a large camera module, the biggest one from the company so far, suggesting a strong focus on photography. Along with design changes, software updates are also expected.
The Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro will feature its signature transparent back panel. The biggest change in the 3a Pro is its round camera module, which sticks out more than the Phone 2a Plus.
This model introduces a triple-camera setup in a 90-degree right-angle layout, with a periscope telephoto zoom lens for better zoom capabilities. Meanwhile, the Phone 3a has a pill-shaped triple-camera system placed on a circular island, maintaining a design similar to the Phone 2a.
As per the reports, Nothing is also introducing a fourth button on the right side, rumoured to work like the iPhone’s Action Button. The company calls it “the second memory,” but its exact function is still unknown.
Display & Performance:
• Both models will have a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with Panda Glass protection.
• They offer 3,000 nits peak brightness and a 5,000mAh battery for long-lasting use.
• They are expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, likely the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, but it’s unclear if both phones will use the same version.
