Bhubaneswar: Continuing his way of celebrating birthday with inmates of orphanage, old age homes, and Sevashram, Ollywood actor and former MLA Akash Das Nayak this year also participated in the celebration in the same manner virtually on Thursday.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, Akash celebrated the day with the inmates of Asha Kiran old age home and children of Divya Jyoti Sevashram through vid-conference. The inmates of the two institutions cut the birthday cake for the actor and wished him through video-calls.
The children of Divya Jyoti also performed a dance programme on the occasion. Expressing his happiness over the manner his birthday was celebrated despite the pandemic, the former MLA of Korei in Jajpur district appealed to his fans and well-wishers to stay home, use masks and maintain social distancing to protect themselves and others from the COVID-19.
