Bhubaneswar: Odia actor Bobby Mishra was questioned at Nayapalli police station in Odisha capital on Saturday for allegedly misbehaving with his neighbours.
According to complainant Tapi Mishra, the actor misbehaved and beat him up in an inebriated state after a heated argument over car parking in the colony on Friday.
He further alleged that Bobby threatened to kill him if he reported the matter to police. “He issued threats in the name of gangster Raja Acharya,” he said.
The actor allegedly banged on the grill of Mishra’s house, abused his wife and told her that he would marry her after killing her husband, the complainant said, adding that he and a few of his associates have been creating such nuisances in the colony frequently.
While admitting to the fight over parking, the actor said the complainant is a close friend of him and attributed the incident to some disagreement between them. However, he refuted the other allegations levelled against him.
In May, Bobby was in the news after actor Koyel Banerjee posted a message saying that their marriage didn’t work out and they are in the process of legal separation.
She further wrote that they have not been staying together since November 2018. The couple had got married in 2013.
