Bhubaneswar: Atibadi Jagannath Das Puraskar-2020 was presented to eminent writer Ramachandra Behera here on Wednesday.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi presented a citation, Rs 5 lakh cash, a shawl and memento to Behera at a function at Sanskriti Bhawan conference hall here.

Atibadi Jagannath Das Samman is awarded by Odisha Sahitya Akademi to Odia language litterateurs for their lifetime contribution to Odia literature. This is the most respectable honour to any litterateur by the organisation.
The Akademi also felicitated 15 veteran litterateurs of the state and presented them Rs 1 lakh cash, a shawl and memento.
