Bhubaneswar: The admission process for two-year BEd, MEd and BHEd courses in Odisha for the academic session 2026–27 will begin from March 23.
Admissions to these teacher education programmes will be entrance-based.
According to the official notification issued by the Higher Education Department, candidates aspiring to enrol in these courses can apply online via the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal by completing the Common Application Form (CAF) from March 23 to April 6.
Applicants have been advised to visit the official SAMS website (samsodisha.gov.in or the dedicated teacher education portal te.samsodisha.gov.in) to register, fill out the form, and submit required details during this period.
Following the closure of applications, all applicant data will be forwarded to the State Selection Board (SSB) by April 13 for processing and examination arrangements. Admit cards will be made available to eligible candidates starting from May 27.
The entrance examination schedule is as follows:
B.Ed course: May 31
M.Ed and B.H.Ed courses: June 3
