Odisha-Born Rajasthan HC Chief Justice Tests COVID-19 Positive
Bhubaneswar: Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Indrajit Mahanty, who hails from Odisha’s Cuttack, has tested positive for COVID-19.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot broke this news on his official Twitter handle and wished him a speedy recovery.

Mahanty took oath as the 37th Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court on October 6, 2019. He was the senior-most judge of Orissa High Court and prior to this appointment, he had served as the Justice of the Bombay High Court.

According to reports, the Chief Justice had taken part in an Independence Day event at the court on Saturday and those who attended it have been asked to get themselves tested for COVID-19.
A medical team will visit the Bar office to conduct the tests.
On Friday, five employees of the High Court had tested positive for the deadly virus, the reports added.
