Odisha Cabinet Likely To Okay Ordinance On Ekamra Kshetra Project Today

Bhubaneswar: The  Odisha Cabinet, which is scheduled to meet on Monday evening, is most likely to approve the ordinance on the Ekamra Kshetra Development Project in line with the Jagannath Temple Act.

The Chief Minister had recently visited the 11th-century shrine to review the ongoing developmental works in the area and instructed the departments concerned to complete the work before Shiv Ratri.

The Ekamra Kshetra Development Projects being carried out around Lingaraj temple as part of a beautification drive.

While Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will preside over the Cabinet meeting via video conferencing at 5 pm, the ministers will participate from their respective district headquarters.

Besides, the Cabinet is also likely to approve the tenders for the proposed medical colleges and hospitals in Jeypore and Puri and the restructuring of the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre.
