Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will chair a crucial state Cabinet meeting here at 5.30 pm on Friday. Several key proposals are likely to be approved at the meeting, sources said.
According to officials, several key proposals of the Higher Education, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development, Health, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water and Urban Development departments are likely to be approved.
The Cabinet is likely to approve a proposal for payment of salary to employees of aided colleges as per the 7th pay commission and restructuring of the veterinary cadre.
