Bhubaneswar: In a reshuffle, the Odisha government has given additional charges to three senior IAS officers, including Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sushil Kumar Lohani.
A notification in this regard was issued on Friday. Lohani, a 1995 batch IAS officer, has been given additional charge as the Principal Secretary of Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.
Deoranjan Kumar Singh (1993 batch), Principal Secretary of Steel & Mines Department with additional charge of Chairman of Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd, Chairman of Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd and Chairman of IDCOL, is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary of Excise Department, the notification stated.
The additional appointment of Lohani as Principal Secretary of Excise Department shall stand terminated from the date Deoranjan Kumar Singh takes over, the notification stated.
Sanjay Kumar Singh (1997 batch), Principal Secretary of Rural Development Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary of Information & Public Relation Department, Vice-Chairman of Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and Managing Director of Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd, is allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner of Commercial Taxes & GST, Odisha.
The additional appointment of Lohani as Commissioner of Commercial Taxes & GST shall stand terminated from the date Sanjay Kumar Singh takes over.
